Lauroyl Lysine
Lauroyl Lysine (purity ≥97.0%) is a fine white powder with a flat, layered crystal structure, offering a silky, smooth-spreading texture solution for makeup, skincare and hair care formulations. At Benefacta, we supply this natural-origin ingredient made from lauric acid and plant-fermented lysine, ideal for a wide range of applications that require an elegant skin feel and reliable performance.
Whether you are formulating pressed and loose powders, foundations, eyeshadows or sunscreens, Lauroyl Lysine improves the glide, adhesion and dispersion of pigments and fillers on the skin. Because it is practically insoluble in water and oils, it remains stable in almost any base and adds water and sweat resistance to long-wear products. In creams and lotions it also acts as a particle stabiliser for emulsions from about 0.5%, and remains stable across a wide pH range.
We provide complete traceability and comprehensive documentation (TDS, SDS, COA) with every batch, ensuring consistent quality for European cosmetic manufacturers. The ingredient’s high purity, uniform particle size between batches and natural origin make it a preferred choice for formulators seeking a multifunctional texture powder that combines a soft, silky feel with long-lasting wear.
